Arima Onsen, known as Japan’s three major hot springs, is one of the oldest hot springs in Japan and has a long history.
There are two types of hot springs at Arima Onsen: Kinsen(Gold spring) and Ginsen(Silver spring). Among them, Kinsen(gold spring) that is muddy in reddish brown is famous.
It contains seven ingredients, excluding sulfur springs and acid springs, which are the main ingredients designated by the Ministry of the Environment as recuperation springs.
The hot springs that mix many ingredients like this are very rare in the world.
Arima Onsen is easily accessible from Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, and is recommended for relieving your travel fatigue.

From the main building, you can enjoy the view of Mt.Yubunetani.

Mr. Tadamichi Ota, a Japanese food expert, is the owner of this ryokan. He is famous as a “cooking ironman” in Japan.

Kosenkaku

Kosenkaku is located on a quiet hill, a little away from Arima’s hot spring town. From there you can overlook the mountain range of Tamba.
Kosenkaku has its own source of hot springs, one of the few high-quality hot springs in Arima. You can spend a luxurious time there in a rock bath with a source spring.
There is also a lodge-type room on the vast grounds where you can spend a leisurely time with your children.

Nakanobo Zuien

It is a resort ryokan with the largest garden pool at Arima Onsen.
