Spectacular! Kawachi Fujien, a large wisteria shelf about 3300 square meters
Kawachi Fujien is a privately owned wisteria garden in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, which opened in 1977. The natural domes and tunnels created by beautiful wisteria flowers that are in full bloom from late April to mid-May are spectacular.
There, 22 kinds of wisteria flowers are in full bloom, centering on a large wisteria shelf of about 3300 square meters. In autumn, you can enjoy the tunnel of autumn leaves, and around late November, about 700 autumn leaves will be in full bloom.
The best time to visit depends on the climate, but we recommend visiting during the best season.

A promenade in the sky? ! Japan’s No. 1 Suspension Bridge Kuju “Dream” Large Suspension Bridge
The Kuju “Dream” Ohashi Bridge in Kokonoe-cho, Oita Prefecture is the best suspension bridge in Japan. This bridge, which is 390m long, 173m high and 1.5m wide, is the tallest in Japan for a sidewalk and can be seen overlooking majestic mountains.
From the bridge you can see two waterfalls and a female waterfall, and if you are lucky you may encounter a fantastic landscape with a rainbow over the waterfall in the evening. It is also a must-see for the beautiful autumn foliage scenery where the trees are colored.

Nabegataki Falls, a superb view from behind the waterfall
Nabegataki Falls is located in Oguni-machi, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture. It is a beautiful waterfall, like a water curtain, that emerges as you walk in the forest.
It has a height of 10m and a width of 20m, and it is characterized by flowing water with an exquisite amount of water so that the inner trees can be seen through as if delicate threads are flowing one by one. You can also go behind the waterfall.
There is a limited time night light up in spring, where you can experience the fantastic art of a waterfall that is different from natural light.

Sacred place of lovers “Hamanoura Tanada” (Hamanoura Rice Terraces)
“Hamanoura Tanada” is located in the Hamanoura district, facing a small cove, in Genkai-cho, Higashi-Matsuura-gun, Saga Prefecture. It is like a stair running up from the coast, with 283 large and small rice terraces extending over the slope.
It is also designated as one of Japan’s Top 100 Rice Terraces, Saga Prefectural Heritage, and the Holy Land of Lovers. Especially in mid-April to early May when water begins to fill the rice fields, the rice fields look like mirrors.
The setting sun setting between the valleys illuminates the terraced rice fields in a reddish color is like a painting, and it is sure to be fascinating.

Kuminigaoka’s Sea of Clouds – Get up early and go there!
Kunimigaoka is a hill at an altitude of 513m, located in Takachiho, Nishiusuki-gun, Miyazaki Prefecture, where you can see the sea of clouds early in the morning. Especially in the early morning from autumn to early winter (mid-September to late November), it is highly likely that you can see it on a cool, sunny day.
Even if you don’t see the sea of clouds, you can still see the mountains, towns and terraces of Takachiho in the east. In the west, you can also see the Aso Sotoyama and the Buddha statue called the “Nirvana of Aso”.

Entrance to another world? ! Mizonokuchi cave

“Mizonokuchi Cave” is located in the northernmost part of Soo City, Kagoshima Prefecture, in the middle of the quiet countryside and between the mountains. There are dense trees around it and a torii gate is built in front of the entrance.
When you pass through the torii gate, you will find a mysterious space beyond your everyday life.
It is a scenic spot where a fantastic scenery that is hard to express when looking back at the entrance from a cave that was created by an old large eruption and erosion of spring water has become a hot topic.
