Is it splashing? ! Sakinoyu, an outdoor bath like the sea

It is the only hot water bath that has remained in Yuzaki Nanayu since the time of Manyo, and it is an open-air bath with a magnificent Pacific Ocean close by.

The sea is very close from the bathtub, and you can take a bath while feeling the waves hitting the rocks with your eyes, ears and skin.

A hot spring, sulfur and tide scent, sound of waves, a ship that slowly crosses the Pacific …You will feel not only the hot springs but also the openness of nature.

This feeling of openness also encourages conversations with your companion and other bathers.

However, winter is very cold because the wind from the sea blows outside the dressing room.

Please note that the bathtub is stepped, and the closer it is to the sea, the lower the water temperature and the better it will be visible from the outside.

It is a hot spring adjacent to Shirarahama Beach, and when you arrive at Shirarahama you will first see a large pool-like bath. It is a mixed bathing outdoor bath that you can wear while wearing a bathing suit, and it is large enough to accommodate 100 people at a time.

A hot spring is drawn from “Mabuyu”, one of the main hot springs, and the temperature of the hot spring is kept at 38-40 °C in summer and 42-43 °C in winter.

During the sea bathing season, you can drop the sand and go straight to the hot spring in the bathing suit, so it is very busy.

There are also benches for foot baths that can be used easily in winter. Why not take a leisurely look at the sea while taking a footbath?
